Seven Layered SaladSpring favorites that add more spring to your step and a healthier outlook...Spring seems to always bring a healthy new perspective when it comes to our favorite outdoor activities such as afternoon walks, bike rides, ballgames, and gardening. And speaking of gardening, lets consider some healthy cuisine ideas right out of the garden. One of favorites is the Seven Layered Salad because it has so many fresh seasonal vegetables and it's good for you! It's really easy and fast to prepare, but you don't have to tell any that part! Prep Time: 25 minutes * 1/2 cup plain yogurt Preparation: Layer spinach and cabbage in 9x13 glass baking dish. Pour tortellini and dressing over. Top with Havarti and grape tomatoes. Sprinkle bacon over all, and top with Parmesan cheese. Chill well. Serves 10 |
